Nokia N96 16gb GPS Wi-Fi 5mp is a wondrously designed 3G Smart-phone that features a dual opening mechanism and is considered to be Nokia’s next star mobile phone. The N96 is a member of the N series range by Nokia that includes the extremely able Nokia N95 3G Smart-phone and the latter version, the Nokia N95 8GB. The very brilliant dual opening design will much help the user to slide open the handset. The N96 is a capable phone in musicality, just not video playback. Like its predecessor, the N95, this handset a dual-sliding form factor. Slide of the handset one way to let out a numerical keypad and the other to show off a control pad for the phone’s media player. The screen is just 2.8in but unlike many competitors it isn’t a touch screen. The only aspect of the design we’re not assured is the cheap plastic feel of the handset – not something we’d think from one of Nokia’s top models.

Expandable 16GB of memory - Nokia N96 16gb GPS Wi-Fi 5mp
The phone comes with a capacious 16GB internal memory that can be expanded with a MicroSD card. There’s also Wi-Fi and HSDPA functionality, an FM radio, A2DP stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, plus an integrated 5MP camera and built-in GPS.
There’s yet a small integrated stand on the back of the handset to prop it up when you’re watching video. The battery should be good for five hours of video playback and up to 14 hours where music is concerned.
In the box you’ll find a disc carrying Nokia’s NSeries PC Suite. This software includes Video and Music Manager; you can drag and drop files from your PC to the phone or you can get the software to search your computer and convert the files before transferring them.
Disappointing screen, good sound
The color TFT display screen on the N96 is a large 6.1 inch diagonal display (2.8 inches)and displays up to sixteen million colors on QVGA LCD screen and the screen resolutions are 240 x 320 pixels.
